What Next!
This is turning into a once a week thing when I really mean to do it way more often than that. I swear the more I try the further behind I get. Last week I was just worried whether or not I would get the wireless network working to get myself online. Little did I know that was the least of my worries. Everything started out as mundane as can be. Thursday I worked my tail off doing deliveries. We went to my in-laws for dinner since my brother-in-law and sister-in-law were in from Indiana with their baby. You know I really have to keep reminding myself to try harder to et out of these things. I managed to make it through the night without any really rude comments. I swear if they could wrap this kid in bubble wrap they would. They have absolutely no clue!!!!! We all thought it would wear off after a while, but to put it plain and simple...they are nuts!!!!! Really really nuts. My sister-in-law is convined that the baby has known sign language from birth and has a sign for everything he wants. Trust me...I've had 4 kids....it just isn't that simple. I wish it were! I wouldn't have a dent in my forehead from banging it on the wall if it were. So basically...remind me next time...at all costs get out of the visit!!! The next day we headed up to the lake for a nice quiet Independence Day weekend. It was not to be. Our nanny called on Sunday morning, all our stuff is gone. We've been robbed! So into town we treck. Yep she's right...I wasn't sure she'd be wrong about a missing 50 inch tv, but you know, sometimes people over-look the most obvious things! So we spent Sunday here with half the police department trying to figure out where all our stuff was. Hopefully at this point they have some clue. While "they" were stealing one of our tvs they pulled then cable line out of the wall. I did say someone does not want me online...they really don't have to go to those lenghs to do it...just send me a note!! So back we trapse to the lake. The very next morning...phone rings at 6:30...it's our friends the police again. They want to know if it's okay to board up the window at our office that someone has thrown 2 large chunks of concrete through. Oh yes sure...why not...what else could possibly happen. Luckily the rest of the weekend was uneventful and we're back home and the wonderful cable guy came and we are up and running again!!!! For now!
Stupid Question of the Weekend
My mother in law wanted to know...why would a married woman with 3 kids want to go up in the space shuttle. Obviously it's been a long time since she's had kids and she never did have 3. So NASA...I'm here waiting...I'm sure I would still be able to hear my children whining from space. I'll bet there are some cool things you could study on knitting in space! Where do I sign up?
