Blog Fall Down and Can't Get Up

Poor Poor lonely blog. I'm sorry I have left you to hang there in cyberspace all by your lonesome. At least you had wooley pictures to keep you warm. I don't have internet access at home so I really only get on every once in a while...and I'm sorry blog...but I don't think of you. I know...bad blog mommy. I'd likely ignore my kids the same way if they weren't so insistent. I have knitting pictures...tho not really so good ones...but forgive me.

Unofficial Tour de Fleece

I didn't actually join Tour de Fleece but I have been making a point to spin every day. I'm still working on the fiber that I bought with my wheel. I have bought some new pretties to spin so I will be on to other things when I finally get this done. I'm almost done with some birthday socks and the spring ahead socks. I'll post pictures of those when I'm done...hopefully later today.

Actual Knitting

I have actually done some knitting on each project that I have going right now. I have finished the Annetrelac Socks

I have done some knitting...not to be confused to progress on the mystery stole...remember the one from last summer with all the clues...yeah that one. I have knit and tinked the same row...most likely not less than 4 times. And this is knitting done while I am not distracted...i.e. kids not around...I can't get it...it is not working right now.

Little progress done on the perfect sweater...I'm up the armhole shaping on the front (back is done) and then just the sleeves (thank god I have short....well I was going to say arms...but I guess all of me is short)

I knit and ripped and knit again the jaywalkers. Aparently all my talk about mindless knitting doesn't work if you have the wrong pattern in your head.

And I have actually looked at the spinning wheel....not to be confused with any actual spinning.

Maternity Leave?

I guess my life is finally back...well as back as it can be going through a divorce and having 4 kids 5 and under including a newborn. But I have actually had a few minutes to knit so I guess that might mean things are stabilizing. I've got another few inches of the entralac sock and have started the second jaywalker. I love the jaywalker because it has a little pattern but still easy enough to do while driving. Yes all you frightened people I have a sock that stays in my car that I knit while driving...before I get people emailing me how dangerous that is...I don't actually knit while the car is moving (well maybe a little) but I make between 1 and 3 school runs every day...it is about 6 miles and takes somewhere in the neighborhood of half an hour each way depending on the time of day. So as you can see there may be a stoplight...or twenty or maybe a train or twenty along the way. I don't see myself as a particularly fast knitter ...kinda medium. So I'm back...but no pictures today..next time I promise. But when is next time you ask (since my mother reads my blog just to make sure I'm still alive). I'm going to try for at least 3 times a week.
